Letter from the Board

Jane Bradley PettitDuring her lifetime, Jane Bradley Pettit's generosity drove efforts that shaped and elevated the Greater Milwaukee community. A lifelong resident of Milwaukee, she was compassionate about its citizens and had a love of the arts and the environment. She established the Jane Bradley Pettit Foundation to initiate and sustain projects in the greater Milwaukee area that promote the welfare of families, children, the elderly, and the disadvantaged. She was the daughter of Margaret "Peg" Bradley and Harry L. Bradley, founder of the Allen-Bradley Company (now a division of Rockwell International).

The Foundation has and always will remain true to her vision of supporting initiatives that enhance the quality of life in the Greater Milwaukee community. Her generosity was and continues to be an inspiration.

In an effort to keep her vision alive, the Foundation is now focused on operations and programs of local organizations as they deliver services to individuals and families.

The Jane Bradley Pettit Foundation Board has determined that effective January 1, 2024, the Foundation will no longer accept requests for capital including new building and expansion projects. The Foundation will instead focus on grants for operations and programs.
